The lower half is under control, gains ground with stride foot. The swing is down to level, with more of a middle to pull side approach. The exit velocity was a tick above average at 88 mph. Showed hard line drive contact in batting practice. Defensively, at first base, the glove is soft, works from the ground up, good footwork, starting the double play. From behind the plate, athletic setup, short quick feet in transfer, arm works from a high 3/4 slot. The arm was clocked at 71 mph.

While catching, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 68 mph; shows soft hands, developing feet, and a lengthy transfer. consistently had pop times of 2.21-2.25. Wide setup with some flexibility. Had a short arm action and a low ¾ slot with some accuracy to the base.
