Above average at the plate, Brucato was ranked 1st with an exit velocity of 94 mph.Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a tight compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, and had a short simple swing plane. Produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Up the middle opposite field approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 78 mph; has soft hands, a quick clean exchange, and smooth feet. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a compact arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a clean arm action. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-79 mph; shows command down in the zone with straight heavy movement. His changeup (74-76) showed fading action and arm side command. Has glove side control and late hard action on his slider (68-69).

Has a strong balance point with in line downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 75-77 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1947; Avg 1883). Threw a 1/7 curveball (64-66) that showed slurvey action and glove side control. (Max spin 2614; Avg 2580). Showed fading swing and miss action and arm side control on his changeup (65-67).
