7/01/20

6-foot-170-pound, average athletic frame, body works with easy movements and actions, showing room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is super smooth, hands work down with rocker step and move back up with leg raise. The lift is athletic, could get to a higher gather, direction is slightly across the body. The arm action is long and clean on the backside, working from a natural slot, clean and whippy from side view. The fastball reached 80 mph, seen it higher at times, has a big jump in there at some point.  The breaking ball is an out pitch, clocked at 72 mph, harder to hit with some cross fire to the landing make it have some deception as well. The changeup is thrown for strikes, with fade/turn me over rotation to it. A pitch pitcher, trending in the right direction, good follow, will be a good one at the next level.

3/04/20

6-foot, 170-pound, average athletic frame. Shoulders are sloped, with room for added weight and strength. A right-handed pitcher, delivery is super smooth, with timing and tempo to it. The hands start high, work down, and then back up with leg lift. The lift is smooth and athletic, clean hand break, slight bend at waist, could stay stacked up longer through separation. The arm action is super clean, working with minimal effort, fastball reached 82 mph, with a ton of arm side sink and run, will create a ton of ground balls. The slider is his top pitch, legit out pitch, thrown with velocity, late depth and break, clocked at 76 mph. Showed feel for a changeup, proper arm speed, shape, makings of an above average pitch. Chance to have three plus pitches at some point. The fastball should spike with conditioning and a pickup in tempo to the delivery, deliberate at times. Love the feel and makeup to him.

2/16/20

6-foot, 170-pound, average athletic frame, longer neck, sloped shoulders has room for added strength gains. One of my favorite finds of the winter. A right-handed pitcher, who took batting practice as well. Off the mound, delivery is repeatable, has tempo and timing to it, hands starting high, working down during rocker step and then back up with his easy athletic leg raise. The arm action is super clean, average length, working out of a natural 3/4 slot. The direction is inline, with good extension out front on release. The fastball touched 82 mph, with heavy arm side run. The slider is a legit out pitched, touching 78 mph, with late bite to it. Showed feel for the changeup as well. Look for velocity to continue to climb, could accelerate the delivery a bit more, which will help as well. At the plate, hits from the right sides, showing plus hands through the zone, a level path. Slight leak forward, more of a front foot hitter at times. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph and ran a 4.39. Love him off the mound, going to be really good at some point.

Tee Exit Velocity: 84 mph

Home to 1st: 4.39
