2/20/19

6-foot-1, 148-pound, long, lean athletic frame, with plenty of room to fill out and add weight. One of the better players at this event, seen him a bunch, continues to improve. The top tool is his arm, it’s electric with serious whip to it. Defensively, is quick and athletic behind the plate, had a pop time of 1.97-2.06, with the arm being clocked at 76 mph. The feet are quick and clean in transfer, right foot replaces left, has some bounce and hop in his step. From the outfield, arm is well above average at 86 mph, higher slot down hill. The footwork is advanced glides through transfer, arm has carry and flight to it. The arm is a weapon from both positions. At the plate, hits from the right side, stance is open to even, hands are loose with movement to them. The swing is level to up, more of a pull approach. Creates lift and carry when he stays behind the baseball. The tee exit velocity was at 80 mph, with more in there as he adds strength. Runs ok at 4.37 down the line. Like the ability to throw from behind the plate, can help off the mound as well.

6-foot-1, 150-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and catcher. Ran a 4.69 down the line on his dig to first base. The approach in the outfield is aggressive and he showed a cannon from the outfield. Threw 86 mph on the line to the plate. The setup at the plate is wide in base, uses a knee to knee approach at the plate. The swing is long and uphill at times. Uses a 1-hand finish after contact. Needs additional physical strength to aid the development of his game. Jumped behind the dish during game play and showed a good feel for the game, certainly has enough arm strength to catch. The receiving needs to soften.

OF Velocity- 86 mph
