Bat speed is efficient, displays a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 70 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Luca Mori: SS/1B, (2025) Wilton High School, CT. 5-foot-6, 140-pound athletic slim frame. Projectable in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 75 mph. (58.7 mph bat speed average). (17.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in a tall balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a short controlled stride. Has above average bat speed, short upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach.
