The approach is more pull side, creating lift and leverage to the swing. Showed are contact in batting practice with an exit velocity of 93 mph. The hands stay inside the baseball and uses the backside well. Ran a clean 7.37 sixty-yard dash.

Matthew Blachuta: OF/RHP, (2023) East Windsor, CT. 6-foot, 192-pound athletic strong frame. Raw during batting practice, Blachuta displayed an exit velocity of 92 mph, 2nd Best EV of the day. (76.5 mph bat speed average). (24.2 mph hand speed average). Begins in a tall strong stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a long stride. Has explosive bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. Above average from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 81 mph; shows a twitchy exchange, athletic smooth feet, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.0. Projectable on the mound, had a short loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort.
