9/29/19

5-foot-10, 150-pound, thin, athletic frame, young body still, plenty of room for added weight and mass. A two-way player, projects out off the mound down the road. Simple delivery from the right side, stays over the back side, direction is inline. The arm action is a natural 3/4 slot, super loose and whippy. The fastball was clocked at 80 mph, look for velocity to climb. The breaking pitch is more of a slurve, clocked at 65 mph, needs more fastball hand speed, has the makings of a quality pitch. Changeup is a work in progress but should be usable with the clean arm action. Works quick and attacks the hitters. Defensively, threw 84 mph from outfield, clean proper prep steps into the transfer. All throws were online and down hill. Offensively, starts open, gets back to even with stride foot, lower half is under control. The hands are set slightly higher with a level path through the baseball. The approach was more line drives from field to field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph and ran a 7.59 sixty-yard dash. Still young, better days ahead, look for him to jump off the mound at some point.

Tee Exit Velocity: 76 mph
Arm Velocity: 84 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.59

7/17/19

5-foot-10, 145-pound, athletic medium build right now, but see a large build at the next level. He shows good hand to ball skills, with solid impact off the barrel. He has a middle approach and displays gap to gap power. In the field he shows a loose arm with sturdy feet at 3B. Off the mound he showed plus run on his ball with a ¾ arm slot. He was able to get his FB up to 81 mph and showed a slow CB at 64-65 mph. Spin pitch needs more fastball hand speed or a tweak in grip going to more of a slider down the road.  His arm speed was quick and could see a velocity increase overall strength and conditioning a must.

Exit Velocity: 79 mph
Arm Velocity: 81 mph
Home-First: 4.63
