Raw solid during batting practice, Cutler displayed an exit velocity of 85 mph, Top 3 EV at the showcase. (63.6 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in an open tall stance with an active load, then uses a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a level loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side line drive approach. Raw his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 72 mph; has soft hands, a clean exchange, and developing feet. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a short loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.22. Projectable on the mound, showed some arm speed, he had a long loose arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Stretch only tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Balance is tall point with a downhill in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands square and hard with an athletic balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-73 mph; showed arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 1787; Avg 1674). Has a 11/5 curveball (56-57) that shows glove side control and early slurvey action. (Max spin 1714; Avg 1613). His changeup (61-64) showed fading action and arm side control. Shows some projection, comes from good bloddlines.
