7/01/20

He is 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds with a large build and large frame. Broad shoulders, wide back,  showing room to grow, but is physically mature for his age. At the plate, he is narrow with bend at the knees. He has a toe tap and then steps into the ball with low and loose hands with plenty of bat speed. The exit velocity was clocked at 95 mph exit velocity. Swung the bat extremely well in batting practice and in game play, collecting a monster home run. In the infield, he was smooth on his feet with flow and short arm with zip at 81 mph. Moves well around the back with clean active feet.  On the mound, he stands tall with insync mechanics. He has a high ¾ arm slot, arm really works, look for a spike in velocity. The fastball was clocked at  80-81 mph with a curveball at 67-68 mph and a changeup 72-73. The fastball was located to the glove side, and bore action to the arm side.  The breaking pitch has correct spin and shape to it. Projects for me more as a pitcher at the next level.

Exit Velocity- 95 mph

Arm Velocity- 81 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.68

3/04/20

6-foot-3, 195-pound, bigger, strong athletic frame. The shoulders are sloped, a well proportioned athlete. A right-handed pitcher, pounded the zone with a three pitch mix. Working from the set position, the delivery is very smooth, lift is athletic, with tempo, gets to a strong gather staying back and over the rubber. The front side glove tracks very well to the plate, stride is inline, slightly shorter, could get out a tick more. The arm action is clean, free and easy, average bottom to top path, working out of a 3/4 to high 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 80 mph, locating to both sides. The curveball showed proper shape, and spin, clocked at 67-68 mph, bigger break, will need to add additional hand speed to it. Threw a hard splitter at 72 mph, downward tumbling action. Look for the velocity to climb, arm action is very fluid, good follow.
