7/01/20

5-foot-10, 176-pound, average athletic frame. A right-handed hitting catcher, behind the plate, setup is athletic, low to the ground, moves well, centers the baseball on catch, hands are strong. The arm action is clean, clocked at 73 mph, the feet are quick and gains ground in transfer, pop time of 1.98-2.25. At the plate, feet are even at the shoulders,  small pick up and put down with stride foot.  The hands are loose and relaxed at shoulders with bat starting in a tilted position. The swing is short to contact, rolls hands late and finishes higher with two hands. The approach is more middle to opposite. The exit velocity was clocked at 75 mph. Like how the body moves behind the plate.

Exit Velocity: 75 mph

Arm Velocity: 73 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.38

10/26/19

5-foot-10, 176-pound, average athletic frame, strength throughout, already filling out, with sloped shoulders. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, wider athletic stance, bent knees, closer relaxed hands at the shoulders. Lower half is simple and under control, small pick up and put down. The hands are quick and crisp to the baseball, slight upper cut through the hitting zone, could flatten at tick. Shows to have some strength and pop in the hands. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph and ran a 8.33. Defensively, arm works from a slightly lower slot, clocked at 66 mph, with a pop time of 2.32-2.53. The feet are super quick, work in transfer. The hands are soft on the catch, can get more behind the baseball on the catch. Regimented throwing program with lifting the arm slot,  will aid in the development.

Tee Exit Velocity: 76 mph
Arm Velocity: 66 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.33
