Solid during batting practice, the hitter displayed an exit velocity of 78 mph, Highest at the event. (59.7 mph bat speed average). (17.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide open stance with a high load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Has a short upward swing plane, above average bat speed and high finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Raw in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 70 mph; had a fluid exchange, smooth footwork, and developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. Used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Recorded a 60 time of 8.35 at the event. (Max spin 1945; Avg 1876).
