05/20/17 - ECU recruit. The stock two-way player is all around a solid player and has performed on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he is a switch hitter with a similar wide setup from both sides. He has a gap-to-gap approach with feel for the barrel and slightly more power from the left side. This translates into games where on the day he consistently squared the ball up. On the mound the lefty throws strikes from a short slot working mostly 86-87 mph with a fastball, 70-71 with a curveball and 76-79 with the changeup. He throws strikes and competes in the zone. Overall he continues to improve on both sides and will excel at ECU.

01/21/17- East Carolina recruit. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound 1B/LHP has a shorter stocky frame, very strong. On the mound, he is around the zone with fastball and offspeed. Curveball is a tough matchup on a left handed hitter. Fastball ranged from 83-84 mph with more in the tank and curveball ranged from 65-67 mph. Two-way player with some value for an inning stint out of the pen or perhaps a lefty on lefty matchup. Sound mechanics, got over his front side allowing for good extension and repeatability on pitches. Arm quickness and strength. The switch hitter was equally as impressive offensively. From both sides of the plate he has a short, simple swing and has a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap power from both sides. A very simple swing that really eliminates a lot of swing and miss. Overall, there are a lot of tools on both sides that will make him an extremely good player at the next level.
8/25/16- Committed to East Carolina University.
1/9/16- Strong, athletic and compact body. From the mound he has an over the top arm slot that gives him a good downward plane on his fastball. 82-83 mph FB, 67-68 mph 12/6 CB that has good depth and he keeps down. At the plate he shows good bat speed with some power for his size and he seems a little stronger from the left side as he is a switch hitter.
