8/7/16- 6-foot-7, 220-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Square stance, easy load and stride, out front with inconsistent contact during event, flashes above avg. pop with leverage to gaps, 89 mph exit strength. Shows good glove and active feet at first, receives around bag well, accurate arm, 77 mph arm strength. Physically imposing on mound, good body control to balance point, swings front leg down mound, throws mostly upper body, avg. extension and finish. Varying action on fastball at 80-83 mph. Falls off mound creating flat action on breaking ball at 68-70 mph. Changeup was 73-75 mph with solid/avg. feel for zone.
3/13/16- 6-foot-7, 215-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. 7.56 runner. Some length to swing with above avg. pop. Loose hands in swing. Solid extension through contact. Stiff lower half with straight legs. 88 mph exit velocity. Moves well and has good coordination for size. Sure hands. Tends to field deep at times. Solid accuracy on throws with short arm action at 73 mph arm strength.
8/4/15- 6-foot-7, 210-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.44 runner. Quiet load and level head through contact. Mid-pull approach. Shows leverage in swing. Stays on ball at contact. Flashes of pop in bat. 93 mph exit velocity. Above avg. glove and feet at first base. Footwork is solid around bag. Strong accurate arm at 79 mph. Large projectable frame on mound. Good body control and mechanics are sound. Fastball cuts through hitting zone with flat action at 79-82 mph. Curveball has early break with 10/4 shape and loose rotation for strikes. Very good arm speed on changeup with above avg. fade/ ASR. Strong follow on mound. Could see significant velocity increase with arm action and physicality.
