6-foot-3, 230-pound mature frame. Binkley recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. Started in a tall stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is above average, has simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Had loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 72 mph; shows average footwork, and a clean exchange. Consistently had pop times of 2.08-2.15. Has calm setup. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action with some accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.45. Capable on the mound, showing some arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 76-79 mph and topped out at 80 mph; has sporadic control and some action with heavy movement.
