Began in a quiet stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Has efficient bat speed, simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 81 mph; has consistent feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1987; Avg 1844). Threw a 10/4 slider with late action. (Max spin 2227; Avg 1978).
