Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 84 mph; shows soft hands, a natural exchange, and quick feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort.
