Begins in a tall balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed was efficient, had a loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with some loud contacts. Up the middle approach. Capable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 64 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and in control feet. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 65 mph; had a natural transfer, rhythmic in control footwork, and sure hands. Staggered setup with some flexibility. Had athletic slot and a short quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 9.24 in the 60-yard dash. Advanced on the mound, showing good developing arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a short moderate arm action. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Displays even in line shoulders with an strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1931; Avg 1821).
