Davis is a physical, strong infield prospect. He hits out of a balanced, square stance. The hands start just off the back shoulder and move into the hitting zone on a direct, flat path. He stays balanced throughout and finishes well through contact. Defensively, he gets into a good fielding position. He works through the ground ball well and shows good hands. He also had a vertical of 56.1 cm. On the mound, Davis is a big, physical presence. The delivery is simple, easy and he stays in line as he works down the mound. The gets to a good balance position at the top, separates into a higher ¾ arm slot that produced a fastball that sits (73-74 MPH) with some arm side run. Davis also showed a late fading changeup and a big 12/6 breaking ball.
