Ben Young: 3B/RHP, (2023) Boston Latin School, MA. is a lanky 6-foot-3, 160-pounds infield prospect. During batting practice, Young had a max exit velocity of 81 MPH. He started in a balanced, wide stance with relaxed hands set just off the back shoulder. His load is clean, allowing him to get stacked over the back leg. The swing takes a long, flat path through the hitting zone with good extension on his finish. In the infield, he was up to 74 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he transitioned through the ground balls, he showed sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent smooth feet.
