Bobby Vozzella: 3B/1B, (2027) Franklin, MA. 5-foot-8, 150-pound slim frame. Projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 80 mph. (61.1 mph bat speed average). (21.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide open stance with a tight load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, displays a short flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable athletic while in the infield, made throws up to 65 mph; shows a natural exchange, developing soft hands, and developing consistent feet. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable and capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent short arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. He has in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed, with a balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 70-71 mph; has control arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 1916; Avg 1724). His curveball (63-64) had slurvey action and glove side sporadic command. (Max spin 1663; Avg 1639). Throws a straight changeup.
