Bobby Goyette: OF/1B, (2023) Saint John's, MA. 6-foot, 175-pound lean athletic build. Raw at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 83 mph. (68.33 mph bat speed average). (24.67 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide stance with a small load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is developing, exhibits  an inside-out swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Base hit approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 73 mph; has a clean exchange, consistent developing feet, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a 60 time of 7.19 at the event.

Hit: (RHH) Raw. Started in a wide stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Developing bat speed. Level finish, inside-out swing. Base hit approach. 

Power: 83 mph exit velocity, average 70.10 mph. 68.33 mph bat speed average. 24.67 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (OF) Soft hands, consistent developing footwork, clean exchange. Solid.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. 

Arm: 73 mph outfield velocity. Consistent arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.19 (60-yard).

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. The approach in the outfield is online and athletic, throwing 70 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The movements are clean and appropriate. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot gains ground as the ball approaches. The path to contact needs to be flattened as the bat head is in and out of the hitting zone. The hands work free and clean to the ball. The addition of physical strength is needed to aid the development of the bat.

OF Velocity- 70 mph
