(16.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then uses a small stride. Had a flat long swing plane, and his bat speed was developing. Barreled up a few balls with loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 73 mph; had a natural exchange, developing consistent footwork, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. He has in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 69-70 mph; had running action and control arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1929; Avg 1824). Shows glove side control and sweeping action on his curveball (61-63). (Max spin 1926; Avg 1874). His changeup (69-70) has arm side control and sinking action.
