Cal Leverone: RHP/1B, (2027) Holliston High, MA. 5-foot-9, 115-pound slim frame. Raw skill set during batting practice, Leverone recorded an exit velocity of 72 mph. (54.5 mph bat speed average). (15.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a tight load, then uses a long stride. Has developing bat speed, flat long swing plane and level finish. Found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Raw in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 64 mph; showed developing hands, developing feet, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish.
