Christopher Swirbalus: RHP/C, (2024) Archbishop Williams, MA. 6-foot, 175-pound lean athletic build. Capable and athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 86 mph. (65.3 mph bat speed average). (21.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced closed stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was developing, had  an inside-out loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Opposite field gap to gap approach. While catching, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 72 mph; had  consistent footwork, consistent hands, and a clean transfer. Clean setup. Showed a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. During his delivery, balance point is tall with on- line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-76 mph; had command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2020; Avg 1958). His changeup showed arm side feel control and gradual fading action. Capable and athletic at the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. (64.4 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing, shows an upward loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second topped out at 71 mph; had developing soft hands, a natural lengthy transfer, and developing consistent footwork. consistently had pop times of 2.25-2.30. Clean setup. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.56. Capable on the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-77 mph; had running action and control arm side around the zone.
