He showed some gap to gap juice during the batting practice.
Defensively, he showed a quick arm at 79 mph from the outfield. The feet were active as he worked to get into a balanced fielding position. The glove was relaxed out in front of the body. He transitioned well to the throwing position and stayed in line with the target through the play.
On the mound, he used a balanced delivery to create a fluid arm-swing and good direction to home plate. The fastball came out at a higher, over the top slot and sat 76-78 mph, with late run. He also showed a cutter, off the fastball at 69-71 mph, with good late action. The breaking pitch showed well at 63-65 mph. He also mixed in a change-up at 63-65 mph with good action.
