At 4-foot-10, 90 pounds this right-handed hitting outfielder showed some life with the bat. He had a tee exit velocity of 61 mph. He hits out of a wide base and loads the weight to the backside. As the swing begins, he leaves the weight on the backside, creating some lift in his swing. He setends well through contact and showed the potential to drive the ball on the pull side.
Defensively, he threw 59 mph from the outfield. The approach was good. His feet stay under control and he’s able to breakdown into a good fielding position. As he transitions to throw, he gets the ball out and into a good throwing position. He finishes through his throws, falling a bit to his glove side.
On the mound, the delivery is simple. He uses deliberate and controlled movements to get to the balance point over the rubber. As he works down the mound, he gets on the outside of his landing foot, causing the arm to drag a bit. This resulted in him missing high to his arm-side frequently. The fastball did show some run and sat 54-56 mph.
