Daniel Vazquez: RHP/3B, (2025) Medfield, MA. 5-foot-10, 170-pound lean athletic build. Athletic and capable during batting practice, Vazquez had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. (72.5 mph bat speed average). (26.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced open stance with a small load, then uses a small closed stride. Bat speed was developing, and used a long flat swing plane. He found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic when throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 88 mph;had a natural exchange, developing soft hands, and developing athletic footwork. Movements laterally were  athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a very quick arm action. Projectable athletic on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose consistent arm action with developing quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Shows in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 80-81 mph; had running action and control arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2171; Avg 2034). Shows glove side sporadic control and sweeping action on his curveball (62-64). (Max spin 2007; Avg 1890). Has sinking action and arm side command on his changeup (68-70).
