Baacke has a strong, projectable 6-foot-2, 200 pound frame. The thick right-hander uses a quick, twitchy delivery to get down the mound. His direction and tempo to home plate allow for a lot of balls in the zone. He works out of a higher arm slot that creates some sink to a fastball that sat 82-83 mph. The breaking ball is a harder, sweeping pitch that sat 70 mph. He also mixed in a change-up at 67 mph, that still looks to be developing.
