Gavin Chmura: RHP/SS, (2027) East Longmeadow, MA. 5-foot-8, 165-pound lean build. Projectable in the box, Chmura had an exit velocity of 88 mph. (64.6 mph bat speed average). (19.4 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a big leg kick. Had quick developing bat speed, loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Line drive aggressive approach. Projectable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 75 mph; has consistent developing feet, a clean natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.9. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a short consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. During his delivery, balance point is tall with the  shoulders being online . Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-79 mph; has arm side control and running sinking action. (Max spin 2243; Avg 2154). His curveball (70-71) had sweeping action and glove side command. (Max spin 2072; Avg 1921). His changeup (70-71) has gradual fading action and arm side control.

(65.3 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a tight load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was developing, had a flat long swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found some barrels. Line drive approach. Capable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 75 mph; had developing soft hands, a natural exchange, and developing consistent footwork. Movements laterally were developing athletically and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 7.7 in the 60-yard dash. Above average projectable on the mound, uses a short quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph; had control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2126; Avg 2021). His curveball (71-72) showed glove side around the zone command and sweeping action. (Max spin 1914; Avg 1822). His changeup (70-71) shows gradual fading action and arm side command.
