Ian Kelly: RHP/OF, (2024) Oliver Ames, MA. 6-foot-2, 165-pound athletic projectable frame. Projectable and athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. (69.8 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Bat speed is quick developing, displays an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average projectable on the mound, using a loose consistent arm action he showed above average arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Balance point is tall with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 85-86 mph; has running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2061; Avg 2007). Shows arm side feel control and gradual fading action on his changeup (76-79). Shows glove side around the zone command and tight late action on his wipeout sharp slider (75-77).
