Jackson Harrild: C, (2025) Newton South, MA. is a 5-foot-10, 140-pound young catching prospect. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 80 MPH. He begins in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed off the back shoulder. A smooth load and a controlled stride put him in a solid position to start his swing. He takes a simple, flat path through the hitting zone with good extension. He finished balanced and showed the ability to use the center of the field. Behind the plate, he sets up in a balanced, square position with the glove set in the middle of the chest. As he transitioned to throw, the feet moved well, his transition was clean, finishing over the front leg. His arm works out of a short,¾ slot producing throws of 73 MPH.
