James Furcinito: OF/RHP, (2027) Duxbury, MA. 180-pound solid build. Projectable and above average in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. (69.7 mph bat speed average). (19.2 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide balanced stance with a handsy quick load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was quick developing, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 72 mph; had a natural exchange, developing consistent footwork, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were developing. Had a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the bag.
James Furcinito: OF/RHP, (2027) Duxbury Middle School, MA. 5-foot-9, 165-pound athletic lean build. Projectable and athletic at the plate, Furcinito's best exit velocity was 89 mph. (70.6 mph bat speed average). (19.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a compact load, then uses a small stride. Had a inside-out loose swing plane and a good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable and athletic recorded an outfield position velocity of 73 mph; had developing consistent footwork, developing soft hands, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with developing athletic movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot.
James Furcinito: OF, (2027) out of Duxbury, MA. is a physical 5-foot-9, 167-pound outfield prospect. During batting practice, Furcinito's best exit velocity was an impressive 87 mph. He begins in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed just off the back shoulder. He used a short stride to start a simple, flat swing that stays on plane and finishes through contact. During his rounds, Furcinito found lots of barrels, showed quick hands and utilized a gap to gap approach. In the outfield, he made throws to the bases at 71 mph, while showing he had sure hands, smooth consistent footwork, and a clean exchange. He also recorded a time of 7.55 in the 60-yard dash.
