Facey is a 5-foot-9, 155 pound infielder. The right-handed hitting prospect had an exit velocity of 75 mph off the tee. The initial stance is athletic and slightly open to the pitcher. The hands are tight against the back should. The load begins with a knee slide to transfer the weight to the back leg and the hands release off the back shoulder. The bat-path is flat to and through the hitting zone and he continues on plane well through contact.
Defensively, Facey was 72 mph across the diamond. The feet are light and he moves well as he works to get into an athletic fielding position. He breaks down well behind the ground ball and shows soft hands transitioning through the play. As he moves into the throwing position, the feet get square to the target, with the shoulder and hips following. The arm-swing is short and he finishes through the play.
