Defense: (C) 2.30-2.50 pop times. Soft hands, developing footwork, clean exchange. Projectable. Some flexibility and clean setup. 

Arm: 68 mph catcher velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot.

Sullivan is a good looking 5-foot-10, 185 pound right-handed hitting catching prospect. He hits out of a narrow, slightly open stance with the bat resting flat on the back shoulder to begin. As the swing begins, the bat moves off the back shoulder and he stacks the weight over the back leg. Sullivan showed some physicality and quick hands for such a young hitter, yielding a max exit velocity of 87 MPH. He takes a slight uphill path through contact and shows juice, especially to the pull side.

Defensively, the young catcher was 64 MPH on his throws. The initial set up is slightly closed, with the glove relaxed in the middle of the chest. As he begins to transition to throw, the feet move well, establishing a good line with second base. The hips and shoulders follow, allowing the arm to work quickly. He finishes against the front leg, creating a bit of recoil on his throws.
