5-foot-8, 130-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and pitcher. Positionally, he ran a 7.22 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is solid and he showed good routes in game. He threw 72 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is wide in base and he steps into the swing. The hands are clean to contact, as he produces a sweeper type path to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 71-72 mph, with arm side run to it. The spin pitch is 62-63 mph, currently big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4. The tempo is solid and the movements are smooth. The lift is repeated and he has very little action with the front side which is good. He does coil the back hip prior to making his way into foot strike., Solid young prospect.

Adams is a talented, young 5-foot-7, 125 pound two-way prospect. The left-handed hitting outfielder had an exit velocity of 71 mph off the tee. He hits out of a balanced, slightly open stance, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He transitions the weight to the back leg with a controlled knee to knee load. The hands push back into a strong launch position before whipping into the hitting zone. The bat-head takes a direct, flat plane to and through the hitting zone, allowing for consistent line drive contact.
Defensively, Adams was 75 mph on his throws from the outfield. The athletic, young Adams shows light feet and soft hands as he works through the ground balls. The feet create a direct line with the target and the arm-swing is quick.
On the mound, the young left-hander uses a quick, controlled delivery to get down the mound. He does fall occasionally to the first base side, causing him to miss high and to the arm-side. The arm works out of a high slot, creating heavy sink on a fastball that sits 69-72 mph. The breaking pitch has tight side-to-side action and sits 58-61 mph. He also featured a solid change-up that ranges 64-67 mph.
Adams is a good looking young two-way prospect. He is athletic, the arm talent is there and the swing shows pop. I think as he continues to develop his skills and mechanically on the mound, he is going to be a legit prospect.
