Josh Bouchard: OF/LHP, (2026) Bellingham, MA. 5-foot-10, 162-pound athletic lean build. Above average and athletic at the plate, Bouchard recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. (76.6 mph bat speed average). (21.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed is above average, exhibits a loose uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average and athletic in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 78 mph; showed developing soft hands, a natural exchange, and developing consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a loose arm action and consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showed developing quick arm speed with a consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Balance point is tall with on- line shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph; had running action and control arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1823; Avg 1731). Showed arm side feel control and gradual action on his changeup (72-73).
Josh Bouchard: OF/LHP, (2026) Bellingham, MA. 5-foot-11, 155-pound lean athletic build. Projectable and capable in the box, Bouchard clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. (68.3 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced open stance with a small load, then uses a small closed stride. Bat speed was developing, displayed an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable and athletic, his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 77 mph; had soft sure hands, a clean natural exchange, and athletic consistent footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.84. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Showed consistent balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 75-76 mph; had running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1837; Avg 1760). Has arm side around the zone control and gradual fading action on his changeup (68-70).
