KYLE MORIN: 3B, (2027) STACY MIDDLE SCHOOL, MA. 5-foot-6, 135-pound slim frame. Capable and projectable in the box, Morin recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. (58.9 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Started in an open balanced stance with a high load, then used a small closed stride. Has developing bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found a few barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable and athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph; has athletic developing feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Showed a short quick arm action and consistent accuracy to the bag. Capable on the mound, had a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle with developing arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher who uses some effort. Has a consistent balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 71-72 mph; shows command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 1971; Avg 1927).
