Nick Tiani: SS/RHP, (2024) Hull, MA. 6-foot, 175-pound athletic projectable build. Projectable and athletic at the plate, Tiani's best exit velocity was 92 mph. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (19.3 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced open stance with a handsy load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, displays an uphill loose swing plane and a front foot finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contacts. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable and athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 82 mph; shows developing soft hands, a natural exchange, and developing athletic feet. Movements laterally were athletic developing and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.2. Projectable athletic on the mound, used a loose consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with an omn- line shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 81-82 mph; showed running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2160; Avg 2046). Showed sweeping action and glove side control on his curveball (68-70). (Max spin 2095; Avg 2065). Had gradual fading action and arm side control on his changeup (70-71).
