Owen Pennini: OF/3B, (2027) Franklin High School, MA. 5-foot-5, 120-pound slim build. Projectable and capable in the box, Pennini had a max exit velocity of 80 mph. (66.7 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Setup is comprised of a handsy load and a balanced wide stance. Bat speed is developing, uses a long flat swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 69 mph. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 67 mph; showed developing consistent feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point.
