Paul Donnelly: LHP/OF, (2024) Masconomet, MA. 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic lean build. Projectable on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action with developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 76-77 mph; has control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2270; Avg 2172). His curveball (65-68) has sweeping action and glove side around the zone control. (Max spin 2256; Avg 2218). Shows hard action on his straight changeup (69-71).
Paul Donnelly: LHP/OF, (2024) out of Masconomet, MA. is a 5-foot-9, 155-pound two-way prospect. In the box, Donnelly had a max exit velocity of 84 MPH, with a (66.3 mph bat speed average) and (20.4 mph hand speed average). He hits out of a balanced, wide stance with a controlled load. A short stride triggers a swing that takes a slightly uphill path through contact. Donnelly showed a quick bat and good balance throughout. In the outfield, his best throws topped out at 73 MPH and he showed he has smooth, consistent feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. He separates well and creates a good line with home plate. He finishes over the front side well with a clean arm swing. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4. The direction to the plate is solid and stays behind the ball.
