7/25/21
Cape Cod- Posted a 25-7 K-BB mark and a 3.86 ERA for the Anglers, despite tiring over the course of the summer. He was 92-93 early in the summer, but we saw him work at 89-91 with a low-spin fastball. Lean and projectable at 6-foot-3, 187 pounds, Keane has a loose, quick three-quarters arm action. He works fast and fills up the bottom of the strike zone with his heavy fastball, which features good arm-side run. He also showed the ability to land his 78-79 mph slider for strikes, with solid shape and rotation. His 79 mph changeup was below-average in our look but got better at the end of the summer.
5/08/19
Six-foot-three inch, lean built, right handed pitcher, Northeastern Commit. Presents with a projectable frame that will only help progress his abilities. He has a clean and quick arm out of a 3/4 arm slot with a repeatable delivery and the ball comes out of his hand with ease. He shows an advanced three pitch mix for strikes. Sat 90-92 with a 4-seam fastball, 88-89 with a plus 2-seam fastball, showed off a slider with sharp bite at 83 and a changeup at 80. High ceiling in 2019 draft.
8/11/18
Turned in four solid innings. He allowed one run on four hits, all of which were weak contact. He struck out five. His fastball was 89-91 from a low-3/4 slot. He throws with regular effort and a medium tempo. His changeup showed run at 84 and accounted for two of his strikeouts. He was losing the grip on his slider early, but showed some with slurvy break in the 75-80 range.
