Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 7.53 sixty at the event. The approach at shortstop is solid and the glove works. He threw 83 mph across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup is wide in base and the swing is under control. The path is long to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 81-82 mph with arm side action. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting 71-72 mph. The delivery is quick in tempo and he shows a quick arm. Andrew Reid: RHP/SS, (2026) MIDDLESEX SCHOOL, MA. 185-pound projectable frame. Projectable during batting practice, Reid's best exit velocity was 88 mph. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (19.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in a narrow open stance with a handsy load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed was quick developing, had an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. Through the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 81 mph; shows a clean natural exchange, developing soft hands, and developing consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a ¾ slot. Projectable on the mound, showed developing quick arm speed, also used low ¾ arm angle with a loose consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 83-84 mph; showed control arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2222; Avg 2166). His curveball (69-70) shows glove side around the zone command and sweeping action. (Max spin 2177; Avg 2163). His changeup (75-75) has gradual fading action.
