Bennett Menghi: OF/RHP, (2026) ARCHBISHOP WILLIAMS HIGH SCHOOL, MA. 170-pound. Projectable in the box, the hitter had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. (66.8 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced narrow stance with a wrapping load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed is quick developing, shows an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 78 mph; has developing,consistent feet, developing hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were developing. Using a consistent arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a ¾ slot. Projectable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a consistent arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Has a consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed. Sat with his fastball at 75-76 mph; has command arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2015; Avg 1943). His curveball (69-70) shows glove side around the zone command and sweeping action. (Max spin 1893; Avg 1891). Showed gradual fading action and arm side control on his changeup (71-72).
