7/22/25

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 85-86 mph with minimal arm side run. The command of the fastball needs to improve as he matures in age. The breaking pitch is in the 70's and the hand speed needs to stay the same as his fastball.  The arm is better than the velocity shows.   The more innings he gets, the better he will become.

6/17/25

5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. The approach in the outfield is athletic and aggressive, throwing 85 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat had an exit velocity of 97 mph. The setup at the plate was wide in base, showing a knee to knee approach to launch. The path is long and flat to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 85-86 mph and showed arm side run to it. The spin pitch was a slider at 76-77 mph with action. The changeup was 72-73 mph and showed fade action. He is aggressive in his approach to pitching.

10/20/24

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher, outfielder and right-handed pitcher. He ran a 6.98 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is athletic and appropriate, throwing 89 mph to the plate from right field. The skill set behind the dish showed well, throwing 81 mph with a pop time of 1.93. The feet and transfer are quick. The bat has an exit velocity of 96 mph. The setup is even in base and the front leg works knee to knee. The hands work freely as they produce an uphill path to the baseball. He showed plus life in the bat. On the mound, the fastball sat 84-85 mph with arm side run. He also showed a mid 70's knuckle ball. The delivery is solid in tempo and he repeats. The arm works in a slightly above 3/4 slot and its clean.

6/18/24

5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher and pitcher. He ran a 6.85 sixty at the event. The frame is solid with room to grow. The bat has good life in it, exit velocity if 95 mph. The setup is wide in base and he gains minimal distance as the swing is progressed. The path is flat to contact, shows a good feel for the barrel. Behind the plate, pop time of 1.97, with a throwing velocity of 79 mph. The receiving is developing as he shows a soft glove. On the mound, the fastball sat 84-85 with minimal ride to it. He also displayed an aggressive approach with a knuckle ball that sat at 70-71 mph. The delivery is solid in tempo with minimal crossfire to the feet. The arm works above 3/4 and is repeated. The velocity should grow as the arm is loose and quik .

2/04/24

Caleb Keyes: C/OF, (2026) St. John's, MA. 5-foot-10, 155-pound lean athletic build. Projectable at the plate, the hitter's 92 mph exit velocity ranks him 1st at the event. Began in a narrow crouched stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Bat speed is developing, displays a loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 85 mph; has developing hands, developing athletic feet, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 76 mph during throw downs; has a clean transfer, developing hands, and developing feet. Calm setup. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag.
