Joshua Roberts: 3B/RHP, (2026) Amesbury, MA. 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic lean build. Capable in the box, Roberts had a max exit velocity of 77 mph. (59.0 mph bat speed average). (16.9 mph hand speed average). Started in an open wide stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap closed stride. Had an uphill swing plane and developing bat speed. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Athletic capable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; had developing soft hands, a developing exchange, and developing consistent footwork. Fielded the ball out front with developing athletic movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the base and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.35 at the event. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used an over-the-top arm angle with a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 75-76 mph; has control arm side in the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 1878; Avg 1785). His curveball (65-66) showed sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 1743; Avg 1670). Has arm side in the zone control and gradual fading action on his changeup (66-67).
