Ryder Holmes: RHP/SS, (2025) Carver Middle High School, MA. 150-pound athletic lean frame. Capable during batting practice, Holmes’ best exit velocity was 79 mph. Started in a narrow open stance with a long load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, shows a level swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.46. Capable on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action with developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Showed consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands closed with recoil finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-81 mph; had running sinking action and arm side control. (Max spin 1929; Avg 1775). His curveball (68-69) shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone control. (Max spin 1674; Avg 1666). Showed gradual fading action and arm side control on his changeup (67-68).
