Shane Sullivan: 2B/RHP, (2027) Abington High, MA. 126-pound lean build. Capable in the box, the hitter's best exit velocity was 79 mph. Begins in an open wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, uses a level swing plane and level finish. He found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 71 mph; had a natural exchange, developing hands, and developing footwork. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a ¾ slot and decent accuracy to the bag. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.94. Raw on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a consistent arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 73-74 mph; had running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1952; Avg 1865). Shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone command on his curveball (63-64). (Max spin 1773; Avg 1773). He threw a straight changeup (67-68).
