Spencer Reames: RHP/OF, (2025) Swampscott High, MA. 6-foot-4, 190-pound projectable build. Capable in the box, Reames recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. (60.2 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in a narrow balanced stance with a low handsy load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was developing, had an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. He created some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Capable in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 80 mph; shows developing consistent feet, a natural exchange, and developing hands. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Projectable on the mound, using a consistent loose arm action he showed developing consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Balance point is tall with a falling off shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 79-80 mph; showed control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2197; Avg 2038). His curveball (73-74) shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 1701; Avg 1701). His cutter (75-76) has slurvey action and glove side command.
