The 5-foot-9, 195 pound switch-hitting catcher is a legitimate two-way prospect. As a catcher, the setup is balanced and he gives an easy target. He moves side to side well and receives well. He has arm strength and the feet are quick to get into the throwing position. On his throws to 2nd base he was 79 mph, with a pop time range of 1.8-1.9 seconds. At the plate, he had a tee exit velocity of 90 mph from the right side. The lower half setup is similar on both sides of the plate. He begins spread and slightly open. The hands on the left side start closer to the body and cause the swing to be a little longer than the right. From the right side, the hands are set a little farther away from the body, allowing the swing to be more fluid. Both swings show his strength and quickness of the hands. The bat to ball skills are present and he is able to drive balls from both sides gap to gap. He also ran a 8.04 sixty. On the mound, he continues to impress. He works quick and throws a lot of strikes out of a simple delivery that’s repeatable. His arm is quick and everything he throws moves late. The fastball was located to both sides of the plate at 83-85 mph with late run. The breaking ball is a plus pitch at 68-70 mph, that he will throw at any time. The change up was 73 mph with good action. This is a pitch that has continued to develop and he is throwing it more.I like his two-way potential! He is a solid defender behind the plate, with a plus arm. His bat plays on both sides of the plate and the ability on the mound is through the roof!

5-foot-7, 195-pound right-handed pitcher. Threw the ball very well at the event as the ball comes out good. The fastball sat 85-87 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is solid, good depth to the breaking ball, sat at 70-71 mph. The changeup is 74-77 mph, spin is correct. The delivery is online with the feet and quick in tempo. The slot is slightly above 3/4 and works quickly. The lift is repeated, and direct to foot strike. Spin off a bit after release but stays behind the ball most of the time. Solid prospect
