Sets up with his front foot open and he closes it down as the ball approaches. The front side flies off the ball as he begins the swing. Staying on the ball until contact is imperative. The hands work and he could be a big and formidable left-handed hitter with adjustments. On the mound, the fastball touched 77 mph. The breaking pitch sat at 65 mph as well. The changeup is 68 mph, with depth and fade to it. Pitches out of a ¾ slot. The arm swing is long on the backside and the arm slot is lower than from the outfield. The lift is athletic and repeated. Pulls the glove across the hitters face as he makes his way into foot strike. The arm works fine, needs better direction to the plate as he matures. Follow as a hitter.
